A company that produces composite pallet blocks for both the home and export markets based in West Cork is looking for a Mechanical Fitter.

About your new job

• Machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance.
• Performing maintenance procedures on building & equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Installation of new equipment & services.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

What skill/experience you need

• Mechanical background or working in a similar qualification.
• Over 3 years maintenance experience in an automated high-volume factory.
• Great knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Brilliant troubleshooting/ problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with automated continuous process equipment.

What’s on offer

• Full-Time
• Salary - €46,000 DOE
• Overtime – Time & a Half.
