About Your New Role

Working on extensive plant upgrade and maintenance initiatives is the purpose of this position.
Participating in the maintenance team's multidisciplinary group
In charge of a certain plant process area
Making sure the proper preventative and predictive maintenance is performed completed
Arranging significant overhauls and shutdowns
In charge of overseeing subcontractors on particular contracts or projects
Increasing plant availability, identifying problems, and fixing maintenance issues
Constant enhancement of environmental and safety requirements
Scoping initiatives that boost financial gains for the company
From project installation to construction
Handing over and commissioning

What Skills You Need

A qualification as a Mechanical Engineer or similar
Knowledge of Health and Safety in heavy industry
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen
Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Autocad)
Strong attention to detail and capable of working on your own initiative
whilst meeting project deadlines
A work history of contributing and adding value to the overall performance of
a previous employer(s)
