About Your New Job
- Inspect and Repair: Responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles, machinery, and trucks (both light and heavy).
- Maintenance: Maintain yard/field equipment such as forklifts, cranes, service trucks, welders, trailers, and generators.
- Oversee Operations: Oversee maintenance inspections, monitor inventory, assemble mechanical components, and perform necessary repairs.
- Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their concerns and identify issues, offering consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records, and perform vehicle assessments to alert clients of issues.
What Skills You Need
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent qualification in relevant fields; certification from a vocational or trade school is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of equipment/vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Compliance: High sense of responsibility; operate in compliance with regulations and rules.
- Language: Ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Additional Skills: First aid certification may be beneficial.
