About Your New Job
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation and close of month-end management accounts and reporting packs.
- Processing monthly journals with review of supporting schedules for key GL & BS Accounts.
- Product margin and overhead review and analysis to budget/prior year.
- Monthly accruals & prepayments management – critical review of balance sheet items.
- Weekly Bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting processes from preparation to review phases.
- Preparation for audit visit and liaising with external auditors.
- Assisting in stock take procedures and reconciliations.
- Reviewing/presenting profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Other project work as and when required by the Finance Manager.
- Key contributor to ad hoc business improvement projects.
What You Need
- Qualified Accountant with 2+ years of PQE.
- Experience in retail / FMCG is highly preferable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when working closely with non-financial employees such as the commercial team.
- Stamp 4 or EU passport.
