About Your New Employer

• Our client is a multinational manufacturing business that operates across 4 sites in the ROI and another 17 across the UK and Europe.
• Our client is the leading producer of both fresh and cooked pork products with approximately 13,500 employees in Canada and Europe. 

About Your New Role 

• Provide technical support for plant facilities, including packaging lines, utilities (compressed air, steam, refrigeration), and effluent plant.
• Maintain and update preventative maintenance system, manage stores transactions, and order necessary parts promptly.
• Ensure compliance with on-site and regulatory health, safety, food safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform electro-mechanical repairs on food processing, handling, and packaging equipment.
• Manage planned maintenance, utilize resources like manuals and contractors for breakdown recovery, and oversee contractor interactions.

What Skills You Need 

• Mechanical fitter qualification.
• Experience in high-volume food/beverage processing (preferred).
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments and open to cross-skilling.
• Strong health and safety awareness and effective communication skills.
