One of Ireland’s leading meat producers located in Watergrasshill, Co. Cork are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

You will be working alongside the Maintenance Manager in the middle management team to develop & manage your shift, to suit the business needs, while overseeing the Engineering strategy along with the Production & Site Leadership team.

About your new job

• Ensuring that supervision and safe operating procedures are in order.
• Maintaining Health & Safety rules and regulations.
• Ensuring all PPM schedules are completed and developed using predictive and diagnostic maintenance techniques.
• Initiating improvement plans in a logical and proactive manner.
• Supporting the maintenance department in achieving its budget targets.
• Sustaining and improving standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory.
• Undertaking emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way.
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment to the site.
• Approve and manage workload to engineering team using CMMS.

What skill/experience you need

• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• Over 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Possess great awareness of health & safety rules & regulations.
• A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Class B
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
• Taking their own initiative as well as having the ability to work as part of a team.
