We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to a leading Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct root cause analysis to determine the best course of action.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install new electrical equipment and systems according to code and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections to identify and rectify potential electrical hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to support facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide timely resolution to electrical issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualified
- Proven experience as an electrician in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
