Job Title: Legal Secretary
Reporting into: Partners
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Galway City Centre

This role is based with one of the longest-established Solicitors in Galway City centre.
This is a busy firm with a good local reputation and rated as one of the top 10 firms in Galway. They practice in the areas of; Conveyancing, Probate, Litigation and Family law.
Due to expansion of the business, this firm are now seeking to recruit a Legal secretary to join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Legal Secretary job:
- Conveyancing and Probate work
- Providing secretarial support and assistance to solicitors
- Preparation of legal documents and file maintenance
- Dictaphone typing
- Answering the telephone (when Receptionist is busy) and dealing with emails
- Liaising with clients and other office
- Diary management
Skills and Experience needed by the successful applicant:
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills with strong client focus, dealing with both new and existing clients
- Excellent computer skills, advanced Microsoft Word and MS Outlook
- Fast and accurate typing, and experience of audio-typing
- Proven ability to manage a demanding workload
- Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach to work
