Sales Account Manager - FMCG/Food

 

About your New Employer Working with a Cork based Food company looking to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to join a well-established and expanding company. The role offers the right candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and to take on commercial leadership responsibility for strategic accounts

 

About your New Job:

  • Manage a select portfolio of strategic accounts with the support of account executives and customer service teams.
  • Build a strategic partnership with customers to enable delivery of the customer and their business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all other departments to ensure they provide a best-in-class service to their customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet / exceed their expectations.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Collaboratively support and take on a leadership role in the development and execution of the business Commercial strategic plan.

What Skills You Need:

  • Proven experience as a key account manager, in FMCG or Food
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships across our customers and internal organisation
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Possess senior sales negotiation experience within FMCG or food.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong IT skills including advanced excel skills.
  • Comfortable presenting and representing the company.
  • Self-motivated & driven.
  • Energetic with a can do approach
