Job description

Due to recent company success and expansion this is a newly created position for a Commercially Orientated Project Manager.

We are seeking an astute business driven individual to assist with commercial development such as bids and tenders, project management and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting directly to the general manager, the successful candidate must have strong business acumen such as budget control, marketing and commercial strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and monitoring of sales channels to assist and expand in operational growth.
  • Commercially focused you will be accountable for managing the development of projects ensuring tasks have been completed within their deadline.
  • Lead tender submissions by creating work schedules and co-ordinating internal stakeholders.
  • Budget management with indirect P&L oversight.
  • Build and develop a relationship with clients and the local authority.
  • Identify prospects for network growth and development to maximize revenue
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create brand awareness.
  • Communicate and engage with the General Manager, receiving support and guidance from senior staff members.
  • Working closely with the managing director.

 

 Requirements:

  • Previous project management and commercial experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel with P&L exposure.
  • Comfortable in face paced working environment.
