ICT Security & Networks Administrator

About Your New Role

• You will play a crucial role in managing and up keeping a secure network infrastructure and communication systems across the company
• You will be installing and supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure, covering switches, firewalls, load balancing, and network access management
• You will be ensuring the reliable operation and integrity of network nodes and communication systems
• You will be troubleshooting and analyzing network security across various technologies
• You will be monitoring security system logs and reports for anomalies and problems
• You will be supporting network security, system auditing, and vulnerability assessment activities
• You will be reviewing vulnerability assessments and audit reports for remediation and mitigation solutions
• You will be assisting in the evaluation of the security of new products and services, both on-premise and in the cloud
• Participating in scheduled out-of-hours on-call support for ICT Operations on a rotational basis

What Skills You Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Engineering, or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Certification/Qualifications in industry-recognized Network and Security disciplines (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet Certifications, Checkpoint CCSA, EC-Council CEH, SSCP, CCSP, or any relevant networking and IT security qualifications)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a network administration role for a medium-sized organization
• Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, DMZ, VPN, and DNS network technologies and protocols
• Experience supporting network configuration management and security solutions
• Working experience with multiple security technologies, including CICSO, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto
• Experience with web and email content filters, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
• Familiarity with network security monitoring and vulnerability management tools
• Experience with ticketing tools for Incident, Change & Problem Management
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
