About Your New Job
- Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: As an HVAC-R Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Risk Identification and Fault Diagnosis: Identify maintenance risks and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- System Cleaning and Adjustments: Clean, adjust, and repair systems, perform warranty services, and handle emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Technical Direction and Training: Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to team members.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act, and maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Customer Interaction: Assist with customer queries and ensure service standards and customer requirements are met.
What Skills You Need
- Educational Background: Secondary Diploma required; Certificate in the electrical field is required.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC appliances.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license; First aid certification may be beneficial.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating; working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Skills: Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols; strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving; excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Language: Ability to understand and communicate in English.

- Competitive Salary: Attractive compensation package. (€15.00 - €16.50 per hour) - 48hrs week, option of 12 hours overtime
