About Your New Role
- Serve as a key contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and guidance on performance issues.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.
- Coordinate training programs, maintain skills matrices, and address skill gaps with managers to meet business needs.
- Act as the superuser for the HR system, ensuring optimal functionality, user support, and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, legislation, and maintain accurate reporting on metrics like absence and engagement.
- Implement initiatives to enhance workplace culture, including surveys, engagement programs, and recognition efforts.
- Identify and lead HR improvement projects while staying updated on trends and best practices in HR and employment law.
- Support HR team operations, provide coverage for colleagues, and perform ad hoc duties as needed.
What Skills You Need
- Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with HRIS, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance HR processes and productivity.
- Strong understanding of employment law, talent management, and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building trust across all levels, alongside proactive conflict-resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, embracing HR trends, and flexibility to manage ad hoc tasks or support team members.
