A Cork based Home Care Service Providers is looking for Home Support Workers to join their team on a full-time or part time basis.
The ideal candidate has a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare and a years’ experience in a similar role.
About Your New Job as Home Support Worker
- Provide high standards of care to clients.
- Adhere to all of Comfort Care Ltd policies.
- Accurate record-keeping and writing detailed reports.
- Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role.
- Implement the client's care plan.
- Provide practical support to clients in a professional manner.
What Skills Are Needed as Home Support Worker
- Available for evenings and weekends
- Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification
- Full Clean Drivers Licence and Use of vehicle is essential
- Be flexible and have a can-do attitude.
- Have a caring and kind disposition providing a person-centred approach to the client.
- Experience of Personal care including Infection prevention and control.
- Good communication skills and practical skills.
- At least 1 years’ experience supporting individuals with a disability/Care of the older person in a community or social care setting.
