Health and Safety Lead required in Limerick!

About Your New Job

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety standards are being met.
  • Lead and manage the health and safety team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate health and safety considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Prepare and present reports on health and safety performance, including statistics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a health and safety role within the pharmaceutical or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
