About Your New Job

You will be leading the IT function and executing the IS/IT strategy in order to help grow the business
You will be managing all infrastructure and systems necessary to support IT Operations
You will be managing the IT teams across Ireland and the UK
You will set objectives and define strategies for the IS/IT department
You will be choosing and implementing suitable technologies to improve business operations using public/private cloud or on-prem solutions
You will be responsible for the security of the entire information stack - including hosting, network, servers and storage, backup, end user devices and applications
You will select and manage IT suppliers and partners
You will be preparing the IT Department's annual budget
You will oversee the organisation's IT Infrastructure and provide guidance to the IT team and MSPs

What Skills You Need

Proven experience as a Head of IS or similar managerial role
Excellent knowledge of IS/IT systems, IT infrastructure, and Information security
Experience in strategic planning and execution
Knowledge of IT hardware and software and cloud solutions
Experience implementing IT integrations in a large division/company
Solid understanding of data analytics, budgeting, and business operations
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
BSc/BA in information technology, computer science, engineering or relevant field
