About Your New Job as a Global Materials & Planning Operations Leader:
- Manages the planning and delivery team including employee training, development and career progression.
- Establishing the planning and delivery processes
- Ensuring planning and delivery processes are being implemented correctly and aligned to the Center Of Excellence governance
- Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plan into physical orders
- Being responsible for executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants
- Providing overall planning and delivery guidance for orders
- Being responsible for routing orders to the various plants
- Managing and processes order exceptions
- Managing communication between the Product Line/ Sales/Service Delivery with respect to order dates
- Planning deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitments
- Working with the region Sales and Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
- Being responsible to ensure orders are appropriately maintained in SAP (aged orders, etc) Manage Global inventory strategy and execution
- Managing the materials planning and delivery team including employee training, development and career progression
What Skills You Need to succeed as a Global Materials & Planning Operations Leader:
- Have a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience
- Have minimum of 7 years experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
- Have a deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality (min. 7 years experience)
- Experience in oil and gas industry would be an advantage
- Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
- Be able to demonstrate experience managing and developing teams (Min. 15 years experience)
- Have Certifications in APICS is advantageous
- Have a global people leader experience with demonstrated Leader of Choice capabilities (Drive Culture, Inspire People, Achieve Results, Growth Mindset)
- Be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland
