Job Responsibilities
As a General Operative, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating production lines efficiently, packing products, and building pallets to meet daily targets.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Reporting any safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
- Conducting pre-start checks, hygiene inspections, and safety procedures to comply with industry regulations.
- Collaborating with the production team to set up lines, perform quality control checks, and ensure materials are ready for use.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food safety regulations.
- Accurately completing documentation and maintaining required records.
- Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and contributing to continuous improvements in production efficiency, food hygiene, and housekeeping.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is an advantage.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail in product inspection, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards and best practices for maintaining cleanliness in the workplace.
- A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
