About Your New Job
- Perform manual labor tasks: Digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades.
- Maintain work areas: Ensure cleanliness and safety by removing debris and hazards.
- Load and unload materials: Handle materials and equipment efficiently.
- Operate tools and machinery: Use hand tools and small machinery like drills, saws, and compactors.
- Follow safety procedures: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Set up and dismantle structures: Assist with scaffolding and other temporary structures.
- Perform demolition work: Carry out demolition tasks as needed.
- Follow instructions: Complete tasks efficiently under the guidance of supervisors.
- Maintain a positive attitude: Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
- Other duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What Skills You Need
- Physical stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Instruction following: Capability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Safety knowledge: Basic understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Tool operation: Ability to use hand tools and small machinery.
- Reliability: Punctuality and dependability.
- Willingness to learn: Open to taking on new tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, warehouse, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- First aid certification: Beneficial but not mandatory.
