About Your New Job:
You will join the legal team based in Ireland, reporting to the General Counsel, and play a key role advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contractual matters. This position involves close collaboration with compliance teams, internal stakeholders, and external legal advisers across multiple jurisdictions. The role offers exposure to a broad range of investment fund legal and regulatory issues within an expanding in-house legal function.
What You Will Do:
- Advise on corporate governance practices for Irish-domiciled investment funds and management companies.
- Provide legal support on regulatory compliance, including implementation of new legislation and Central Bank regulations.
- Draft and review a variety of service agreements, including fund administration and vendor contracts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining legal templates, policies, and procedures.
- Support legal and compliance training programmes.
- Liaise with internal teams and external counsel on legal and regulatory matters.
- Participate in global legal and compliance initiatives and projects.
Who You Are:
- Qualified solicitor with 2 to 5 years’ post qualification experience.
- Corporate law firm trained, with experience in funds or financial services regulation in Ireland.
- Familiar with Irish company law, Central Bank regulations, and UCITS/AIFMD directives impacting fund managers and service providers.
- Experienced in drafting and reviewing service provider agreements in the investment funds sector.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, reliable, and a collaborative team player with high integrity.
