Financial Lawyer - Hybrid

Legal Council / Funds Lawyer (In House)

My client is a leading financial services provider looking to grow their team with a newly qualified Solicitor or Barrister. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Solicitor or Barrister to develop their career within the funds industry.

Key Responsibilities   

• Reviewing of prospectuses and other fund documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Negotiate agreements with clients as well as their legal advisers based on the companies templates.
• Provide support to all departments on ad hoc legal and regulatory issues.
• Research and monitor developments on regulatory issues affecting the funds industry, the Company and the Branch.

Requirements:

• Newly qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
• Knowledge of the investment fund industry.
• Good attention to detail, drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• French desirable but not essential.

What’s on Offer
