About Your New Job
- The role of Fund Accountant will partner with the global team to conduct accounting and review of complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
- You will manage third-party administrators, and review monthly and quarterly books of the funds.
- The Fund Accountant will assist with year-end audits, and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for all transactions.
What Skills You Need
- 2-5 years of work experience as an accountant in financial services with hedge fund or private equity clients and/or product controller.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
- Good product knowledge, including fixed income instruments and derivatives.
- Desire to become involved in a broad range of financial control responsibilities and initiatives.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work in a global team environment.
