Forklift Driver 

Location: Cork

Role Overview

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe movement, storage, loading, and unloading of goods within a warehouse or distribution environment. The role also includes stock control, order picking, and maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries from trucks and containers.
• Move stock to designated storage locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock counts and inventory checks.
• Complete daily forklift safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and stock movements.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Keep warehouse and yard areas clean and organised.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Essential Requirements

• Valid forklift licence 
• Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
