About Your New Job
- Clean and Sanitize: Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, restrooms, and handwashing stations.
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, pots, and pans, ensuring all items are properly sanitized.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors to keep the kitchen and dining areas spotless.
- Waste Management: Empty trash, dispose of waste properly, and follow established recycling procedures.
- Food Preparation Support: Assist with washing vegetables and fruits, setting up and breaking down serving lines, and serving food to customers.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Safety and Reporting: Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Food Service Manager.
What Skills You Need
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation principles.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler Certification preferred.
- Ability to pass required medical screenings (TB Med 530).
