About your new job:  

Reporting to CFO, provide the company with a strong financial control environment while managing a number of direct reports within the AP and Credit Control function.

Objectives

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Revenue account and reporting for all revenue streams
• Ensure complete and accurate processing of all financial transactions including sales invoicing and purchase invoices
• Manage the finance team covering invoicing and credit control and purchase ledger
• Manage quarterly reforecasts and annual budgeting processes
• Maintain accounting systems and all systems improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Revenue reporting of all revenue streams
• Variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior year
• Management of payroll staff, close supervision and responsible for an accurate and timely payroll including full time staff, hourly paid staff,
• Management of purchase ledger staff, close supervision and responsible for payments to suppliers
• Responsible for managing the balance sheet accounts including monthly control account reconciliations.
• Involvement in quarterly reforecast and annual budgeting process.
• Lead continuous process improvement for back office finance systems and procedures
• Ad hoc requests and projects general support to the head of finance

What skills you need:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 5+ years post qualification experience.
• Highly IT literate including advanced excel user
• Excellent management skills
