About Your New Job
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with FRS 102.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations team including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and pricing models.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, including weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts.
- Compile and process the company’s bi-weekly payroll.
- Liaise with project teams to track project costs and profitability.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and financial regulations.
- Commercially minded (Budgeting, Margin analysis, Financial Modelling)
- Experience in managing a finance team.
