One of the leading players in the construction industry with a huge strive towards sustainability with two plants in Ireland, are seeking a finance assistant team member based in their Dublin office. If you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, along with a strong proficiency in the use of Excel alongside previous experience in a similar role, this is the role for you!
About Your New job
As a financial accountant you will be responsible for the below activities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Preparation and review of quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP
- Maintain and enhance the internal control framework to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act requirements.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Support the business areas with any ad-hoc reporting or analysis projects that are always on the go.
What You Need:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- 3-4 years PQE
- SOX Compliance experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
