About Your New Employer
The successful candidate for this job will play a key role in the day-to-day Accounting function for our client, a leading manufacturing company based in the midlands.
About Your New Job
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts.
- Coordinate the monthly close process, including but not limited to journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, control account reconciliations etc.
- Manages and assists the annual external audit processes.
- Review and support of weekly payroll
- Credit Control.
- Manages and assists with the Accounts Payable processes.
- Manages all relevant accounting processes and systems and ensure all processes are properly documented.
- Responsible for all Revenue and tax filings
What Skills You Need
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum 2-3 years post-qualified experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Knowledge of Inward Processing / Outward Processing would be an advantage.
- In-depth Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required, knowledge of Dimensions and Sage payroll preferred.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong initiative to meet deadlines consistently in an accounting function responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting monthly.
