Financial Accountant - Irish SME - 6 Month Contact -60,000 – South Dublin (Hybrid)

My client, a growing Irish SME in the healthcare sector are seeking a financial accountant to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

About the Job

• Finance team of 11 people reporting into the Group Financial Accountant
• You will be responsible for the month end close process
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• You will carry out a monthly review of performance and compare it against monthly/annual budget
• You will assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Review of monthly expenses including variance analysis and commentary for management
• Preparation of Bi-monthly VAT returns for ROI AND NI
• Take the lead on process and system improvement project
• Ad hoc projects

What you need

• Fully qualified Accountant – ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA
• Strong Month End exposure ideally in an Irish SME

What’s on Offer

• Initial 6 Month Contract with reasonable chance of extension
• €60,000 Salary
• 5 hour working week (some overtime at month end)
• 21 Days AL + 5 Company days (Good Friday, 4 days in Christmas)
• Hybrid Role – 2/3 days in the office
