Financial Accountant – 9-12 Month Contract – North Dublin – Hybrid
My client a leading Irish SME based in North Dublin are seeking a financial accountant to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.
About the Role
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Reporting to the [Finance Manager you will manage the preparation of financial statements, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and support key business decisions through insightful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
- Monitor cash flow and contribute to treasury management.
- Drive process improvements within the finance function.

What you need
- Fully Qualified Accountant with minimum one years PQE
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- Able to commute to north Dublin 3 times a week
- Month End Experience
