About Your New Job
- Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts including parent company and subsidiaries.
- Deliver a detailed analytical review of P&L comparing actuals to budget & prior year.
- Ensure all assigned balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly.
- Assist with managing the AR team & management of aged debtors reporting.
- Maintain fixed asset register and update monthly depreciation/amortisation calculations. Responsible for the maintenance of the fixed Assets master data.
- Assist with financial modelling and annual budgetary & reforecasting process.
- Responsible for preparing, controlling, and issuing customer rebates.
- Prepare, record, and reconcile intra group transactions.
- Assist in revenue assurance process to reduce leakage and identify areas to improve gross margin.
- Involvement in treasury and banking reporting processes
- Prepare & File VAT returns & CSO reporting.
- Prepare audit pack for year-end external audit
- Unique experience to be gained in the implementation of new systems in central office
What skills you need
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience of working in a finance role preferably involving producing management accounts
- Experience of month end closing including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and management report production. Excellent knowledge of Excel essential
