My client within the Insurance sector have a requirement for a qualified accountant with a strong Insurance background and IFRS 17 exp

About Your New Job

  • Support the production of the IFRS 17 transition balance sheet for December 2021. This will include the preparation and recording of adjustments on the General Ledger and testing the output to ensure that they have posted correctly
  • Adjustments have been prepared and loaded to the test general ledger database
  • All relevant journals have been prepared and uploaded to the live SAP General Ledger for the opening balances
  • Assist with the mapping of data input so that SAP general ledger can support IFRS 17 reporting
  • Postings to the General Ledger are correctly split between Investment and Insurance
  • Support the transition of the General Ledger in early 2022 to report on the new basis under IFRS 17



  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 1 - 2 years’ experience – worked within insurance or similar
  • IFRS17 exp
