Working for a leading Logistics company with offices worldwide. They are extremely successful and have been in business for over 40 years. Due to rapid growth, they are looking to recruit a Field Sales Executive to cover the Dublin territory.
About Your Field Sales Job
- Field sales role focusing mainly on the Greater Dublin area
- Territory Management: Effectively manage an assigned territory, developing a deep understanding of potential customers and competitors in the region.
- CRM & Data Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Customer & Internal Collaboration: Build and strengthen relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Solution Development: Assist in creating tailored logistics solutions for customers, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.
- Account Onboarding & Support: Facilitate smooth transitions for new accounts by ensuring effective customer introductions, data transfer, and completion of required documentation. Provide support for accounts receivable (AR) collections when necessary.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and expand knowledge of Expeditors' products and services.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager to strengthen industry presence.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as required to support company goals and initiatives.
What Skills You Need for this Sales Job
- Previous Field Sales experience essential along with a full driving licence
- Previous Logistics or Haulage experience is essential
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment
- Sense of urgency for goal achievement
- Comfortable with regular data entry on a laptop computer
- Must have Fluent English along with EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa
- Is required to reside in Ireland
