About your new job as an Equipment Technician:

  • Take full ownership of the technical performance and reliability of equipment, with a goal of achieving zero downtime.
  • Maintain a strong continuous improvement mindset by regularly assessing equipment and process inputs/outputs to optimize product performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule and recommend enhancements to maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Identify and implement jig and fixture requirements to boost workstation efficiency and improve yield.
  • Ensure tooling and consumable spare parts are readily available and maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new technician hires and be fully proficient in all product manufacturing steps.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with the Line Lead and Line Support Technician to address any equipment or process issues.

What skill/experience you need as an Equipment Technician:

  • Level 6 degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role within a similar industry, with proven expertise in maintaining automated equipment.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex machine faults, with hands-on experience in electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and dedicated, with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated focus on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to GMP standards.

What's on offer?

  • €40,000 - €45,000 salary
  • 20% shift allowance (evening shift)
