Environmental, Health and Safety Officer - €45,000 - €50,000 DOE - 6 Month FTC to perm

About Your New Job:

You will take on a crucial role as the Environmental, Health, and Safety implementation specialist at Charles River Microbial Solutions. Safety is paramount to us, and you'll be at the forefront of ensuring it across our site. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Responsible fort the implementation and revision of health & safety systems and procedures, guaranteeing compliance with all regulatory and corporate mandates.
• Collaborating with local managers to conduct assessments and fulfill practical requirements mandated by H&S legislation.
• Leading the on-site safety committee, ensuring the timely completion of action items.
• Overseeing, inducting, and monitoring on-site contractors and visitors for safety.
• Conducting regular H&S audits/inspections.

Experience Needed:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A BSc. in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent education, training, or experience.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems is advantageous.
