We are seeking an energetic and qualified Energy Metering Electrician with a passion for sustainability and a desire to leave a clean footprint on this planet. You will work with great autonomy to install and commission the company's meters, meet the bespoke metering needs of our clients, and create energy dashboards.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a vibrant team of remote workers, driven by results and united by the purpose of making Ireland greener.

While this role is remote, candidates must be based in Ireland and possess a driver’s license, as the position involves site visits to create metering plans and oversee installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission the company's metering systems.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of metering plans.
  • Create and manage clients' energy dashboards.
  • Convey and sell the benefits of metering to clients.
  • Drive sales and help businesses understand the metrics driving climate change.
  • Conduct site visits for installation and commissioning of metering systems.
  • Attend monthly team meetings for training and co-working.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be an Electrician / have degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in metering and sub-metering.
  • Understanding of metering/monitoring and the intricacies of installation and commissioning. Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and the ability to inspire others.
  • Based in Ireland with a valid driver’s license. Excellent attention to detail and client management skills.
  • Proactive, able to take initiative, and work efficiently with little direction.
