About Your New Employer: 

Our client specializes in automation, instrumentation, and process control. We provide a broad range of services, from the design and installation of basic instrumentation to large-scale process control and automation. We are also market leaders in SCADA systems for the water and waste water industries. With a present major focus on the water and power industries and an aim to grow into other markets, our client provides services to a variety of vertical markets.

About Your New Job:

• Set up radio telemetry equipment, including antenna and rigging fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, cable containment, and telemetry MCCs.
• The installation of drives with variable speeds.
• The necessity of working at heights & MEPW (ladders)
• Setting up and finishing indoor/outdoor cabling.
• Technical drawing comprehension
• Conduct standard electrical tasks, examine MCCs, circuit breakers, and other electrical parts, and troubleshoot electrical problems using the right testing equipment.
• Fixtures, electrical wiring, and/or equipment should be repaired and replaced.
• Obey the National Code of Practice and ETCI regulations.
• Thorough familiarity in electrical repair
• Excellent test equipment proficiency

What Skills You Need:

• Full clean driving licence, Safe pass, Confined space training
• Must have experience working with MCC control circuits
• Understanding of flow meters and general principles of operation Experience or knowledge of radio systems and/or data loggers
• Completion of Electrical Apprenticeship
• Experience working as an Electrician and working as part of a team
