About Your New Job An Electrical Technician
- The Technician will work as part of an operational team to support the Critical environment 24/7/365.
- The team is responsible for the emergency response, operation of critical services within the data center environment and to stabilize emergency conditions as they arise.
- Carry out planned maintenance of systems and services.
- Reactive repairs to ensure minimum downtime on plant and equipment on site.
- Previous experience with fault finding and corrective maintenance in plant equipment.
- Ensuring a high standard of health and safety awareness before, during and after works are complete.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As An Electrical Technician
- A relevant trade certification is a minimum for this job – preferably in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
- A strong understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center would be beneficial.
- Must be willing to work shift work inclusive of days and night shifts.
- Experience of PLCS would be beneficial for this position.
