About Your New Employer

You will work as an Electrical Technician for a medical device company in Galway. This company is focused on improving their patient’s quality of life and are dedicated to the growth and success of their employees. The company are looking to fill the job for both the weekend shift and the weekday shift.

About Your New Job   

As an Electrical Technician you will…

• Complete Preventative Maintenance Procedures on production equipment. Where necessary, update existing procedures in line with our continuous improvement projects.
• Be the main point of contact for Electrical/Pneumatic troubleshooting on shift.
• Work as part of a team to identify and resolve systematic equipment issues.
• Report directly to Production Maintenance Supervisor.
• Installation and modification of equipment and fixtures.
• Seek technical advice from engineers or supervisor for complex problems.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

What Skills You Need

• Electrical trade qualification is an essential requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline desirable.
