About Your New Employer

  • With their head office in Northern Ireland, our client is looking to continue their expansion into Southern Ireland, particularly in the Munster Region

About Your New Role 

  • You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of MEICA (mechanical, electrical, installation, control and automation) equipment on Irish Water pumping & wastewater treatment installations.
  • Your new job will require the electrical wiring, testing and commissioning of mechanical & electrical control equipment on commercial and private installations throughout Ireland.
  • You will be assisting engineers and MEICA sub-contract personnel with the installation, commissioning and servicing of equipment.
  • Emergency response on servicing and trouble-shooting requirements on MEICA equipment will be required 
  • The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of working to RAMS in the water industry.
  • You will be expected to work to the procedures and completion of all documentation to comply with ISO 9001 OHSAS 18001; ISO 14001.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring proper care and maintenance of all equipment supplied by the client 

What Skills You Need 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water and wastewater treatment equipment
  • Qualified in electrical installation and testing to the 18th Edition (or equivalent)
  • Clean driving license
  • Instrumentation knowledge desirable
  • Experience on Irish Water MEICA contracts but not essential
  • Confined Space Training desirable
