About Your New Job
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Company and Client health and safety procedures.
- Carry out accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
- Audit and assess potential new contractors before they commence work.
- Develop and implement the company's Behavioural Safety Policies and provide necessary training.
- Supervise and manage EHS documentation to support the integrated safety management system.
- Deliver and complete statutory notifications to the HSA as required.
- Conduct Health & Safety induction programmes for site personnel.
- Maintain EHS registers to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Prepare and deliver training courses, including assessments.
- Represent the company at site meetings as needed.
- Review Safe Work Plans (SWP) for site tasks.
- Provide EHS advice and direction to site personnel.
- Collect and collate information for the Safety File and prepare for client handover at project completion.
- Track and compile weekly KPIs and report to the Senior Management Team.
What Skills You Need
- Third level qualification or Diploma in Health & Safety.
- At least five years of health and safety experience in construction, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Experience with data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and audits.
- Proficiency in managing EHS documentation and reporting.
- A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
