Environmental, Health and Safety Lead - Up to €90k per annum

About Your New Job

  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Company and Client health and safety procedures.
  • Carry out accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
  • Audit and assess potential new contractors before they commence work.
  • Develop and implement the company's Behavioural Safety Policies and provide necessary training.
  • Supervise and manage EHS documentation to support the integrated safety management system.
  • Deliver and complete statutory notifications to the HSA as required.
  • Conduct Health & Safety induction programmes for site personnel.
  • Maintain EHS registers to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver training courses, including assessments.
  • Represent the company at site meetings as needed.
  • Review Safe Work Plans (SWP) for site tasks.
  • Provide EHS advice and direction to site personnel.
  • Collect and collate information for the Safety File and prepare for client handover at project completion.
  • Track and compile weekly KPIs and report to the Senior Management Team.

What Skills You Need

  • Third level qualification or Diploma in Health & Safety.
  • At least five years of health and safety experience in construction, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and audits.
  • Proficiency in managing EHS documentation and reporting.
  • A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
