EHS Lead - Odense, Denmark (you must be living in Denmark)
Our client is a European leader in construction solutions, building and managing complex engineering projects for top global corporations. They provide industry-leading construction solutions across sectors including Enterprise Data Centres, Advanced Technology & Life Sciences, Hyperscale Data Centres, and Fire Protection. They are now looking for an EHS Lead based in Odense, Denmark. You must have a AMK-B Co-Ordinator cert.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the project’s Safety Management System and all relevant EHS legislation.
Develop and coordinate task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and Permits to Work.
Implement and maintain good safety practices, including regular site audits, hazard control, and follow-ups on corrective actions.
Maintain records of statutory inspections and ensure tools and equipment are compliant.
Provide proactive EHS guidance to site management and participate in EHS forums.
Ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies and procedures.
Coordinate site inductions, training, and management of Project PPE.
Conduct Toolbox Talks and assist in accident investigations with timely reporting.
Oversee welfare and hygiene facilities, ensuring they are maintained effectively.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for the Safety File and support waste reduction and recycling programs.
Essential Criteria:
Relevant third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
5+ years’ experience managing EHS on large construction sites.
Strong knowledge of current EHS legislation.
Flexibility with work patterns when required.
Proven ability to effectively manage EHS issues on-site.
Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
