My client based in West Dublin have a requirement for a commercial accountant with strong management accounting, FP&A and commercial finance experience
About Your New Job
- Issue weekly cost & revenue reports to senior stakeholders and provide analysis on any trends/movements
- Issue monthly cost reports to commercial teams across various sites within Ireland and Europe and provide analysis on any trends/movements
- Review project cashflows and cost valuation reports sent through each month from commercial teams across various sites
- Partner and collaborate with various commercial teams across the business by providing insight and commentary on their projections
- Maintain tacking of project performance vs budget
- Communicate with internal teams, business stakeholders and all external partners including auditors, tax advisors, legal and professional advisors, banks etc as may be required
- Build an thorough understanding of the Working in Progress (WIP) process
- Build a complete understanding around what a payment certificate is from a revenue and cost perspective and how to account for them
- Present on a monthly basis to senior stakeholders regarding any trends/movements on revenue/costs/margins
- Assist in the development of new reporting through the usage of PowerBI
What skills you need
- Qualified Accountant –Recently Qualified - 2 years post qualified experience preferable
- Mut be working in a finance analyst / commercial finance role currently
- Strong FP&A, Management accounting experience - and this must be clearly shown in your cv
- PowerBI expertise preferable
- Coming from Tech, construction, engineering Industry
