Cloud Architect Daily Rate Contract with Leading Consultancy
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy on a greenfield AWS build for a specialist insurance client based in Dublin City Centre. You’ll be joining a brand-new team of six and helping to design and deliver the cloud platform from the ground up.
This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Dublin City Centre.
6-month contract (likely to extend) – €600–€650 per day – Must be based in Ireland
About Your New Job
Join a newly formed cloud team working on a high-impact greenfield project.
Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS from scratch.
Collaborate with Cloud Data Architects and Data Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Lead on core areas like IAM, VPC, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a robust and compliant Landing Zone.
Contribute to automation, cost optimisation, and performance tuning across the platform.
What Skills You Need
Strong experience as a Cloud Architect working in AWS environments.
Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Groovy), and infrastructure automation.
Experience designing secure cloud solutions (IAM, VPC, networking, etc.).
Comfortable working in hybrid teams and collaborating with DevOps/Data teams.
Knowledge of tools like Redshift, Lambda, and Athena is a bonus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
AWS certifications are a plus.
