A leading company that delivers civil engineering services from feasibility through construction stage across a wide range of electricity infrastructure projects located in Little Island are currently looking for a Civil Engineer for their drainage & hydrology department.

About your new job

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your role.
• Provide civil, drainage and water engineering technical services.
• Manage and co-ordinate all relevant civil, drainage and water engineering and associated disciplines’ activities required.
• Ability to carry out site inspections, arrange surveys & analyse information gathered.
• Coordination with other disciplines, working in a proactive way.
• Ensuring all planning permission and licensing conditions are complied with and liaison with all relevant statutory authorities and other stakeholders.

What skill/experience you need

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Level 8 Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in the use of specialist software in hydrological, hydraulic or drainage modelling.
• Strong capability in assessing, communicating, and managing project critical technical risks.
• A full clean Irish driver’s licence – Class B.
• Having Commercial and Project Management capabilities.
• Positive attitude in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Great communication & interpersonal skills.
