About Your New Job
As the Chief Engineer, you will provide cross-site technical leadership in systems integration, controls, and mechanical engineering. You will:
Act as the technical authority across design, build, and commissioning phases, including FAT/SAT and customer engagements.
Define, maintain, and enforce engineering standards and best practices across multiple sites.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, driving technical excellence and succession planning.
Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Site Directors to ensure projects are delivered right-first-time, on time, and to the highest standards.
Oversee risk management, debug complex escalations, and champion the adoption of advanced tools like digital twin simulations.
What Skills You Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
15+ years’ experience in automation or machine building, ideally in life sciences/medical devices.
Expert-level knowledge in Controls Engineering and strong mechanical engineering expertise.
Proven track record leading customer-facing projects from design to validation.
Experience managing teams in a matrix environment and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
