About Your New Job
As the Chief Engineer, you will provide cross-site technical leadership in systems integration, controls, and mechanical engineering. You will:

  • Act as the technical authority across design, build, and commissioning phases, including FAT/SAT and customer engagements.

  • Define, maintain, and enforce engineering standards and best practices across multiple sites.

  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, driving technical excellence and succession planning.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Site Directors to ensure projects are delivered right-first-time, on time, and to the highest standards.

  • Oversee risk management, debug complex escalations, and champion the adoption of advanced tools like digital twin simulations.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.

  • 15+ years’ experience in automation or machine building, ideally in life sciences/medical devices.

  • Expert-level knowledge in Controls Engineering and strong mechanical engineering expertise.

  • Proven track record leading customer-facing projects from design to validation.

  • Experience managing teams in a matrix environment and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
