About Your New Job

As the Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Manage Key Accounts – Develop and oversee relationships with major national clients, such as Musgrave and McCabe’s Pharmacy, as well as independent gift packaging customers.
  • Drive Sales & Growth – Proactively identify new business opportunities, secure new accounts, and expand existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling.
  • Engage Senior Decision-Makers – Present tailored proposals and product solutions to senior buyers and procurement teams at client headquarters.
  • Field-Based Sales – Regularly travel across Ireland to meet clients, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market & Product Development – Collaborate with internal teams to introduce new product innovations that meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Represent the Brand – Attend trade shows and industry events to showcase offerings and build brand awareness.

What Skills You Need

  • 2+ years of sales experience – Proven track record in a B2B sales environment, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • New business development expertise – Ability to identify, engage, and convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Strong relationship management – Confident in liaising with senior buyers and decision-makers.
  • Packaging industry experience (preferred) – Knowledge of the sector is a plus but not essential.
  • CRM & sales forecasting proficiency – Experience using sales tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and provide performance reports.
