BIM CO-ORDINATOR - DUBLIN
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team, working on complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative setting and work closely with all stakeholders to resolve issues effectively. This position is based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to create collaborative 3D models and associated drawings.
- Collaborate with the BIM Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Project Supervisor.
- Input detailed model elements, including both graphical and data components.
- Monitor for potential clashes and generate weekly clash detection reports.
- Coordinate and oversee the sharing of incoming models.
- Provide images and drawings as required by the Project Manager.
- Develop BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical elements, and asset data.
- Produce as-built drawings and models.
- Generate Asset Information Models.
- Contribute to BIM delivery on live and tender projects.
- Create AutoCAD schematics for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Produce BIM-rendered images for project reports.
- Comply with the company's Safety Statement, as well as Quality, Health, and Safety management policies and procedures.
- Experience working with point cloud data is a plus.
Role Requirements:
- A background in mechanical or electrical trades is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in IT systems, including Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BIM, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Experience in M&E services coordination is essential.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and address coordination challenges.
