Assistant Accountant - West Limerick - Permanent - 5 days in the office.
Primary Job Function of Assistant Accountant
Workingwith a team of 5, reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will assist with the Admin and Accounts work of the Finance department.
Duties included in this role as Assistant Accountant
- Handling Customer & Vendor setup forms
- Intrastat & VIES returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Fixed asset register & depreciation
- Weekly invoice/credit note run
- Issuing statements and aged debt report
- Monthly sales reps report
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Assistance with the annual audits and ISO
The ideal candidate:
- Min 4+ years’ experience in a similar role as an assistant accountant.
- Coming from an SME Environment.
- Part qualified and or studying towards accountancy exams.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
