Area Manager - West of Ireland
About Our Client
- Our client is a leading provider of cleaning and facilities management services across Ireland, dedicated to delivering high standards in commercial and industrial environments.
About Your New Job
- You will manage site operations across multiple locations, ensuring work standards, client requirements, and financial targets are achieved.
- You will liaise directly with client representatives, industrial managers, and internal teams to plan and execute periodic cleans and maintain smooth operations.
- You will ensure all staff, budgets, and operations are managed efficiently, adhering to the company's policies and health and safety regulations.
- You will attend weekly operations meetings and take an active role in client communications, suggesting improvements and resolving any client issues promptly.
What Skills You Need
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar area or site management role, ideally in the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to maintain high staff morale.
- Experience with managing budgets and operations to ensure targets are met.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to manage incidents or accidents efficiently.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Flexibility, a hands-on practical attitude, and computer literacy are essential.
